Fixie are cool right? It’s their minimalist aesthetic, their purposefulness, their sleek beauty, their ability to reflect their owner with a few subtle (or outrageous) tweaks. But they can’t fly. And there’s not doubt they’d be much more coolerer if they could.
To make a flying bike you need a structure of great complexity, a team of eggheads, and a large ball of twine. The result is beautiful and captivating but I don’t think it’s yet time to start searching online with a cheap Chinese knockout for commuting to the shops for milk.
